Well it finally aired. Trogdor is in it a few times, I saw the right half of my face in one scene.. woo

Anyway. Surprised the barely mentioned the snowstorm/delay and completely left out all TU did for the family as well as mention of the record-setting fundraising they did for make-a-wish.

But we did get to see TheArtist working, for everyone who thinks he just sits on the computer all day...

There is TheArtist's handy work.

Anyway, some things that were skipped over on the show.
1) TU .  I heard somebody say that hey had the biggest community rally that they have had on the show (unconfirmed).  They also gave all the boys scholarships to TU.  Would have been nice if they gotten a little more advertising on the show.

2) Fund Raising.  They raised over $330k for Make a Wish through fund raising.  They said that it was by far the biggest fund raising effort they have had on Extreme Makeover Home Edition since they started airing.

First, that is awesome Artist!!  Second, yes they should've advertised TU more considering it was practically next door.  Overall it was good publicity for Tulsa.

The artist is in there a lot more in the show.  There is a portion that shows him doing the whole mural in about 5 seconds of footage (In actuality it took about 12 minutes right?)  Anyway, if you go frame by frame you can see him lots.  *He doesn't look directly at the camera in those parts*

Trog, thanks for posting the front view of Artist's work.  sgrizzle mentioned in another thread you were in the final cut as well.  What was your part in the project?

Funny thing about college, sometimes you spend the rest of your life working at jobs that have almost nothing to do with your major. At least you have the minor to fall back on.

That's almost as cool as having a minor in standing in the background  ;D  It's been a great story and sounds like they were quite deserving to be the recipients.

Hey, nice pic of the mural.  I don't have any of it. Could you send me one in a larger size?
