I guess Creepy Fred is trying to extort major league sport money now.  I'd heard or read somewhere that basically Westboro funds itself on civil lawsuits.  Not sure if that's real or imagined. 

Someone needs to start a line of "God Hates Pinhead Fred" T-shirts.  I think I'll do it, who wants one?

I guess now they might be able to change the name of their website from "godhatesf*gs.com" to "godhateswaynegretzky.com".  I wouldn't mess with the hockey crowd though.  They can be a violent bunch.

Ed, FOTD lived with the Terriers for a year above their hockey rink...1972-73. Went to see Esposito and Orr....grew up watching the Oilers in the Civic Center before helmets ...still have an Andre Champlain stick....

Hockey players are the third greatest athletes in the world.

But the violence has made me indifferent towards the sport. Watch the Stanley cup games because they are serious competition.

Despite living in Pittsburgh during Mario Lemieux's (sp?) heyday, I never got into hockey.  Maybe that was because my friends tried to get me to play when I was little, and as the smallest guy on the ice, I ended up bloodied and bruised.  Well...that...and I was the only kid with figure skates, dammit.

That's a disturbing piece. I'm on page 25.  Doesn't appear there's a family outing to Disney World coming up at this rate in the book.  Sheesh, he's even worse than I thought and that was really bad.

Yeah, presuming it's accurate, it's like Stockholm central up there in Topeka.

The funny thing is that it makes me feel less outraged at his stupid protests. I'm happy he's screaming about teh gheys instead of beating his kids.
