And we all thought Pac Man was a passing fad.

My arcade of choice was a little one behind the old McBee A/C store just west of the Traffic Circle.  McBee and a police officer owned the joint, but I can't remember the name of it now to save my life.  I knew both of them pretty well...well, as well as pre-teenagers could know adults they weren't related to.

I had a Miss Pac Man in the garage that I had gotten pretty good at.  Saw one at the movie theater arcade room and couldn't temp a single one of my kids to play it, even though it was the only one that could be played with a single quarter.
