Case in point: Daredevil.  As it was cut for the theatre, it stunk.  I balked at owning the DVD version of it, but did purchase the Director's cut.  While it was still semi-cheesy, the plot was much more fluid and they change aspects of it that made the movie seem much better made.  Not quite sure what the studios were thinking...(but then again, it is the studios).

In fact, they changed so much of it that the theatrical version is a full 30 minutes shorter than the Director's cut.

Hoss. Thanks for letting me know that. I really was looking forward to that movie when it was announced back in the day. Took my boy's to see it because Daddy liked Daredevil comics growing up. Aside from just being a bad adaptation of a good Marvel hero. The movie was just to dark to see what was going on. And on top of that they put him in a even darker red suit. I wasnt real crazy about Ben Affleck playing the role but I loved Jennifer Garner in her hot outfit. So your advice would be to buy the Directors cut DVD ?

Yes.  It's by far and away better than the theatrical cut.  The storyline is essentially the same, but they cut out the extraneous crap of having Matt and Elektra sleep together after the 'rain on the roof' sequence.  Some extra scenes too, but I haven't watched it in so long I forgot.  I do know the trailer included Coolio (?) in a role.

Back on topic. Have you heard the 7th released audio tape ? This one is a answering machine recording. Mel doesnt care if you are there or not. He will lose his mind all by himself. Kinda strange that there is no response from the first Mrs Gibson who had 7 children with this nut bag.

What's racist about a black comedian cracking that our half black president celebrates half of black history month?  Isn't it racist there is no white history month?

Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

But when Brown started taking on the GOP's base, things grew tenser. He insulted Barbara Bush's appearance, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney's Mormon faith, suggested former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty doesn't have a spine, and joked about former House Speaker Newt Gingrich. Just when he was about to make a dig about Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) the comedian was ushered off stage.

As media outlets reported, former Republican National Committee spokesman and current GOP strategist Doug Heye responded to the performance via Twitter, writing: "Wonder why many minorities have problems with GOP? Hiring Obama impersonator to tell 'black jokes' at SRLC, for starters. Our own fault."

Every month is white history month, my friend.

Not exactly "That's our Bush".

There went some of Gaspar's Obama hatin' African Americans back over to the other side.

Well done GOP.

Do not freely throw around the word "hate" with my name attached to it, and mischaracterize me in the process.

I know that your new personal charge is to attempt with every post to somehow get a shallow stab at me, but I would appreciate you just limiting your pediatric banter to regular name calling.

I apologize that in previous posts, I have offended you with my position on issues. That I cannot help.  Don't simply classify me as an enemy and invoke my name in misquotes.

You are smart, don't diminish yourself this way.

Re-read the post.  Try harder.
