Pardon my math skills,,, but how tall would say that tallest Tulsa building be?  And, if we gave you enough photos, could you do some of the buildings that no longer exist?  Specifically, I would love to have a model of downtown as it looked during its early oil boom years when it had all its Art Deco buildings. Would like to have something like that for the DECOPOLIS Tulsa Art Deco Museum.  Plus, would you sell the buildings, and for how much?

Great idea, Artist I love the way you think!

What direction is that view of downtown from, the east looking west?  Hard for me to get proper orientation with all the surface parking missing and all those landmark buildings still in their rightful place  8)

Yes, east looking west (I used the old Central H.S. as reference).

Any idea what the field in the foreground was with the track encircling it or what the white three story building was all the way to the left foreground?

Since I do parallel 2 cities (plus a Midland, Texas) creation of Tulsa will take at least six months, unfortunately. All my models can be found on our web site www.skycrapercity.com (scale models)
I don't make a separate building, the whole city only. Yes, I had the idea to create a city of 30s, but the city in present time of greater interest to the majority of Internet users and for me personally.
Now about the price. Since the model will exist in a single copy (for example, OKC only now), they are priceless! Creating such a model - is a huge labor and many time. Oklahoma City, for example I did for 5,5 months, but I can sell the model or make a second copy just for big money ($ 1 million!). kidding!
Sorry, my English is very bad, so I don't understand what you want to say about the museum in Tulsa?

It looks like a field with the track encircling it and the other appears to be a white three story building.  ;)

Midland?  I don't remember there being anything there worth modeling.  Maybe I'm just doing my best to block out those memories.

What Artist is talking about with the museum is he is workign to start a deco museum here in Tulsa, and is interested in a model of Tulsa circa 1920's-1940's.
