This story poses more questions than answers.

FORT SMITH, Ark. -- Police said a baptism party where some uninvited guests arrived turned into a brawl that resulted in gunfire. Police were dispatched to the Progressive Men's Club at 2 a.m. Saturday after a caller reported gunfire. Witness Amy Manjarrez told Fort Smith television station KHBS that her uncle was pistol whipped and that others, including her father and a disk jockey, were beaten.
Police said one person fired a gun in the air and then into the crowd, though no one was wounded.
Investigators said six juveniles were arrested. Their names weren't released because of their ages. One youth was charged with aggravated assault. Other charges include curfew violations, marijuana possession and carrying a weapon.

Apparently "Progressive Men's Club" is more like an Elks lodge than a strip club.

They have oddly named bars in Fort Smith. I remember "Club Faux Pas" being one of them.

I avoid Yale between 31st & 36th at all cost, it's the worst city street project I've ever seen.  Even shitty by Tulsa's pathetic standards.  I went through there the other day heading north and noticed someone must have backed into the sign with a bucket truck or semi.

When they first opened I asked the clerk if the owner was a Beavis & Butthead fan and he said the owner had never heard of them until he opened it.

How about this for a headline:
Butts Kills Boob in Tusseyville
CENTRE HALL, Pa. -- Court documents obtained by WJAC-TV said that a Madisonburg man has been arrested after confessing to his involvement in the murder of Samuel Boob last year.

According to a criminal complaint, 26-year-old Kermit Butts was taken into custody after he admitted to assisting Ronald Heichel with his plans to kill his lover's husband.

Authorities arrested Mirinda Boob and Ronald Heichel last August after Samuel Boob was discovered fatally shot on the driveway of his Tusseyville Road home.

Court documents show that Heichel offered Butts $5,000 in exchange for his help to dispose of the body.
Friday's arrest was reportedly sparked by two concession stand workers at the Grange Fair who told authorities that they spotted Heichel and Butts in a pickup truck last August and that Butts was acting strangely.
Investigators charged Butts with felony aggravated assault and hindering apprehension or prosecution.
A trial for Mirinda Boob and Heichel was set for October, but is expected to be delayed.
