The lunch bunch has suggested we have our monthly open-to-all posters next Monday at the Boulder Grill. I will get there by 11:30 am and we usually take our time and leave by 1:00 pm.

The restaurant is in the newly remodeled Holiday Inn downtown at 7th and Boulder (17 west 7th). Here is a link to their menu...   http://www.thebouldergrill.com/menu.pdf

I am looking forward trying out some of these menu items...the Black and Bleu Steak sandwich ( grilled sorloin with bleu cheese on ciabatta bread), the Grilled Lamb Kofta (a spiced meatloaf of ground lamb with onions lettuce and tomato or the tilapia sandwich (fried fish on ciabatta bread topped with an Asian spiced cabbage slaw). Each of these are $9 and come with a choice of french fries, sweet potato fries, vinagrette salad or cup of soup. It is going to get cold next week so I will probably go for a cup of their Baked Potato soup topped with bacon or their Black Bean soup with Andouille sausage and cilantro cream.

The restaurant also has pizza, pasta, burgers and salads. If you are not very hungry, the appetizer list includes Macadamia stuffed dates, wrapped in bacon and baked and topped in brown sugar. It also includes beef, lamb, smoked salmon, and tilapia sliders.

This will be our first time to get together since the elections. I also want to hear from others about what they think about the two proposals to change Tulsa's form of government.

These lunches are fun. Try and make it sometime between 11:30 and 1:00 next Monday. Everybody pays their own check you are welcome to bring co-workers. Who thinks they can be there next Monday?

I should be able to make it.

The Northwest Burger looks good to me.

Trust but verify

we vs us

I'm tentative at this point.  If this week bleeds into next like I think it will I'm going to start the week playing catch up.

So:  maybe.

edit: I'm officially allowed to go.  See you guys there.

Anyone can come to these lunches. All that we ask is that sit with us and laugh at my jokes.

I have really enjoyed meeting you guys. I think I know many of you from your posts, but meeting in person and sharing lunch together makes me like you guys even more.

I know I am more likely to say stupid stuff in person than online where it can be used against me. I know many of you think it is not possible for me to say even stupider stuff, but those who have attended these lunches will vouch for it.

We have even had people attend and not give up their secret identities before. That is OK too.

Come have lunch with the TulsaNow posters. It is so much fun they should give us free refills on soft drinks.

Sauer, if you make it to this, I'll buy your lunch.

PM me to let me know you're going so I make sure not to miss it...and also so we can have a code word so none of these other dudes can claim to be you.

I would not reserve money from your account for it....

I thought maybe it'd be like I caught Bigfoot and got him to go to lunch.  Then we could all get pics with him.

I asked my finances if I could attend this, and they laughed at me.  In fact, I think I can still hear them in the other room laughing.  So apparantly I won't be making it.

It looks like we will have some fun people attend this lunch. I better reserve the best table in the place.

This restaurant is on Boulder Avenue, not Boulder Colorado.

Sorry guys, not happening today. I was looking forward to pretending to be sauerkraut. I was going to splash myself with a little vinegar and borrow an F150.  ;D
