OKC.  Was stranded.  Got out today and made my way to McDonald's!  Chipotle BBQ 1/3 lb burger.  4 hours ago and it is still churning.  But sometimes you just gotta have a gut bomb!

Stranded is about right.  Overwhelmed by Fox on KTOK, 1000 AM.  They are about the same as KRMG.  Same script, anyway.

Anyway, am again loose on the roads of Oklahoma!  Look out Tulsa!  I may just head your way!  Bringing whatever it was that infected me back home.  Oh, wait, I was just there Monday, so must have caught it there!

Just when you thought the cupcake craze was about ready to die off.   Not so to enterprising and creative chef types.   Hope one of ours tries this out or is it too big city for Tulsa?

It's hard being a Diamond in a rhinestone world.

I hope the new place on Brookside (Sweeties) is open late and doubles as a coffee shop.  There is a good place in downtown OKC called Sara Sara that is a good place to go after dinner and have a cupcake (or two) and a cup of coffee in a nice setting.

9 out of 10 times I'm disappointed in various "chipotle" dishes I order out, especially at chain restaurants.

And what's the deal with the weak signal at KTOK? I lose it at about Wellston and I can get the "KMR" all the way to I-35 and about I-40 in OKC.

KTOK is stupid.  Sorry, punk transmitter.  I often get it until Stroud or Bristow, though.  Will usually lose it at midway travel stop, just west of Stroud exit.

KRMG is good even to Moore and Norman sometimes.  Not always.

You won't be excited by the McD version, but had to try it.  Also tried their other Angus stuff when it first came out ??couple years ago??  Haven't bothered again.  Angus is an overhyped marketing crock.  It's a cow.  Even better beef comes from mix of Angus and Hereford called "white face baldies".  Everyone has seen them - all black except for the face, which is white.  Looks like a larger black Hereford.  Have raised them before and cannot be beat for all purpose beef cow - just no milk.

Saw a "Space Available" sign in the window. Looks like we won't be buying cupcakes here.

Hi, Cupcake?  Maybe they realized that location was not the best for cupcakes?  I think Utica Square or Cherry Street fits that business model better.
