"Planning law firms and their ilk cannot practice closer than 300 feet from the planning agency"

>Roy D. Johnsen PLLP leased 2,175 square feet at Williams Tower I , 1 W. Third St., through Daniels Greer Properties LLC

Why don't all the planning lawyers just move right in with INCOG?  It would make collusion easier.

If distance rules work for pawn shops and liquor stores, they should be fine for these guys as well.

This is EXACTLY why INCOG should HAVE to move into City Hall.

You sure are a hater...

INCOG is in the taller building of Williams Towers. This lawyer is in the building next door in the shorter black wedge-shaped building.

They are separate buildings. The actual planning hearings are in the City Hall building two blocks away.

I think it is a smart business practice for a criminal lawyer to have an office near the courthouse or a doctor to have a practice near the hospital.

Next door!?!?!  They share the same lobby!  Let's get real, recommendations are already decided when the meetings are held.  The influences to those decisions are not made at city hall.  Stop feigning naivety.

Come on down to Inteller's house for New Years, and remember, Target is still next door!

Why do you think it would be any different if the zoning lawyer's offices were 10 feet or 10 miles away? Any citizen or any attorney could show up at INCOG's office and speak to the staff and try to influence any agenda item any time of day.

Being within walking distance doesn't mean anything (unless you are so naive that you think otherwise).

I just think you are wanting to smear the reputation of people you don't agree with and are grasping at thin air to find ways to make up innuendo to do such. If this is the kind of logic you use to fight commercial development in your neighborhood, I am not surprised that you always lose.

Power is nothing till you use it.
