Are there any decent indoor running tracks in the Tulsa area?

I searched around online, but wasn't able to find any.

hi BADude, i know about it and i am sharing with you. Running is a great way to stay in shape. It is excellent for your heart and lungs, and many people with asthma use running as a way to increase their lung capacity.

In Oklahoma, we are blessed with mild springs and autumns, so running outdoors is an option for a good portion of the year. Even in winter the temperatures are usually mild, except for the occasional blizzard or ice storm. Sadly, there are not many indoor running tracks in Tulsa, but there is at least one for those days when running outside is not an option, and we all know that treadmills can suffice, but just aren't the same.

Tulsa Community College, Fitness Centers

There are a few ways you can have access to the TCC Fitness Centers, which are all equipped with indoor tracks at every campus. All faculty, staff and students (enrolled in at least one credit hour) may use it. If you do not work there, though, and are not interested in attending TCC, you may become a member of the TCC Friends and Alumni association. Annual fee for a "TCC Friends" membership is $25 for one, or $40 per family. Fitness center access is an additional $50 per semester, or $25 for the summer, for each person. Young children are not allowed on campus.

River Parks

These parks run the length of the Arkansas river from 101st Street to I-244, and are all connected with bike and running trails. It also connects to the Creek Turnpike Trail at 96th and Riverside, and the Sand Springs Trail near downtown. There are numerous parking lots along Riverside Drive, and the parks includes Turkey Mountain at 71st and Elwood when you cross the river going west. There are 26 miles of trails, and there is a track at 31st and Riverside that goes from the east side of the river, crosses to the west, and circles back around and is close to 5k in distance. Most of the trails along Riverside are relatively flat, with a few hills and valleys, so it is ideal for the beginning runner. There are no distance markers, but if you need to know how far you have gone, simply follow the streets—it is 1 mile between 71st and 61st, etc. It is free to use the trails.
