TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are investigating a string of robberies late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning and they say one man is responsible.

The first robbery occurred at 9 p.m. at the Waffle House at 11th and 101st East Avenue.

Police say a white male came in with a note demanding money.  He ran off after getting cash.

Witnesses described the man as about 20 years of age, 5'07" and 150 lbs.  He was wearing a blue jacket and no weapon was seen.

About an hour later, a man matching that thief's description robbed the Sonic restaurant down the street at 11th and Garnett.

The man implied he had a weapon and again ran off with the cash.

Tulsa Police believe the same man hit the QuikTrip at 13th and Garnett around 12:30 a.m. Thursday.  This time, the man was able to get away with cash and cigarettes.

No one was hurt in any of the robberies.

If you have any information that can help police, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.

I'm not trying to advocate a vigilante type response but come on. QT has 2 or more employees on every shift. And dude is 5 foot nothin and I'm pretty sure he wasnt built like Schwarznegger.

Oh what am I thinkin ? TPD is on the case. Nevermind.  ;D

I've been thinking the same thing.

Only the desperate or the dumb would attempt to rob a QT.  Anyone that has had contact with or worked in their stores knows their security if a very high caliber.

Not to mention, like DolfanBob says, the fact that Scharzenegger was not a supreme physical specimen.

You can be pretty certain that the corporate policy is one of noninterference, but also one of asking them to look up at the camera, and then turn sideways and remove your hat.
