This may sound stupid, but I've never made spaghetti sauce with wine.  I've made some marinara too, and to be truthful, I don't know the difference.  The kids are wary of anything Dad makes, of course, since Mom is the only reliable cook in the house.  Their idea of spaghetti sauce is something that comes out of a jar.  It's exactly the same.  Every time.  No differences.  No culinary adventure.  The same.

It's how kids are, though they're both in their twenties.
I've actually got a couple that get adventerous with eating.  Guess it comes from me cooking a lot.  The others like my sauce better than the store bought, and since one refuses to eat store and only lightly eats mine, guess that says something.

And no, I'm not telling you where I got my scratch, that is a secret as well.

Gaspar,
He wouldn't smite for drinking wine on Sunday.  Shoot, he spent a lot of time in the first half of the Bible telling people the proper way to take care of their wine so it wouldn't go bad!

I don’t share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.
