Is there anyone in the state with a brain that cares about Fallin??  She finally did her "doody" today and called an emergency.

I support Mary Fallin she's doing a darn good job, since Henry left office the economy improved alot, everything is upbeat,  and the unemployment rate is falling every month. I'll tell ya something else I like about Mary Fallin she reversed many  of Gov. Henrys paroles and pardons. Oklahoma does not need any criminals being released into the streets early, keep 'em locked up!. Good Job Gov. Fallin!!! :)

If you don't get syphilis treated fast enough it can cause brain damage.

Um, I don't think the Oklahoma governor can reverse executive paroles and pardons.  You can violate your parole and get tossed back in.  As well, the governor does not have final say on parole so far as I know, that is reserved for the pardon and parole board and they can act without the governor's approval, FAIK.

The economy bouncing back is not the tangible result of anything Fallin has done, just as much as Gov. Henry didn't have anything to do with a downturn which was the result of the national economy slowing.  In case you haven't noticed, oil prices have been increasing over the last year and Oklahoma's manufacturing sector is heavily vested in the oil industry.  Higher oil prices means there's more drilling activity.  That helps drive demand for all sorts of ancillary drilling, delivery, and processing equipment which is made in our state.

Thanks Townsend, I just peed my pants.

I guess that comment in the post above is better than a tripple "facepalm" thing. Anyhoo it looks like the sour weather is a thing of the past. This uncoming week looks like it'll be a goodie. The Holiday weekend is going to be dry.

Conan,
You don't think maybe he was kidding??  That would have been a perfect facetious post!  (I don't know him as well as many here, so will defer to other's thoughts on this.)

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

Any reason why a DVR couldn't record a national program without local weather interrupting it?

Why DVR a show with local weather interruptions if it's a national broadcast?

1st world problem, I know, but it makes sense to me.

I was just glad these jokers weren't carrying the NBA playoffs....hoooray for TNT and ESPN....

A friend told me she wanted to see Carrie Underwood on Letterman only to find Travis reporting on routine storms for an hour and a half....

Yep it happened with Two and a half Men. I DVRd it and went to watch it the next day and saw all of six minutes. It then went to the Travaganza for the rest of the half hour.

Now I am sure you are thinking. Hey just go to CBS.com and watch it there. I did and less than fifteen minutes into it, a advertisement sent the picture into a black screen with just sound.
What the he!!?  I'll catch that episode in reruns.
