Where in the "Wide world of Sports" do you get that Brewer is suing against the voters in this article?

Or did you get a bad shipment from across the border?

The point is she is trying to negate what the electorate did...sue to clarify? Hardly.....it's not the job of the state employees to interfere or overturn the citizen's will.

Ooohhhh, that's right! I forgot! You only see things one way! Your way! I guess that makes all of us in the real world wrong then huh?

Really, what about the judge in California who overturned the citizen's vote on gay marriage?

I called it judicial activism.  Other's on here said that was our Constitution at work preventing tyranny on the minority.

Please explain how this is any different, or do you disagree with what the judge did on the California case by overturning the will of the voters?

Here is a more in depth aricle on the matter, as opposed to the short little paragraphs from Reuters. Technically yes she is suing against the voters, but the main point is they want to make sure that the medical marijuana dispenseries and the people producing it are not in violation of federal law.

. . .The attorney representing the people showed up late, and he claimed he forgot his briefcase.  When asked why he was wearing sunglasses he said he had an eye infection.

So, I was correct.

CoCo, buddy....the judicial arm of government has the right to adjust the law. Public employees do not.

As I said, technically yes it is against the voters, but the reality (Do you know what that is?) she is trying to protect what was voted for in that the voters voted for and passed a state law that is in conflict with fedreral law. Arizona and other states want to legalize medical marijuana, as California has done, and to protect the people responsible from the federal laws, as other states have done. You obviously did not read the article I posted (not suprised) you seem to have a very myopic, better yet, tunnel vision, view as to the way things are. With the name TeaTownClown, I wonder whose poster you are most likely to have on your wall. Thom Hartman? Rhandi Rhodes? Glenn Beck? Rush? Hannity? O'Riley? It's painfully obvious that you lean one way, and one way only, and that is the only thing you listen to or read. You are more the problem, than the cure.

So stick to what you think, and be single minded, and let those who listen to more than one opinion, and make educated, intelligent choices in the real world.

By the way, yes we did land on the moon.

Wow...nice board check, DB. You'd die to see my posters.

Funny how you sometimes complain about government intervention unless it's on behalf of something you have an issue with.... Big difference between single minded and simple minded.

Here's your good buddy xenophobic Geert on the job.

Backed by the far-right party of anti-immigrant politician Geert Wilders, the coalition government that came into power last year announced plans to curb drug tourism as part of a nationwide program to promote health and fight crime.
