One of the closed schools, Barnard Elementary, burned to the ground this morning.
It had just been remodeled as a school of the arts.

It was the TSAS charter high school. One of the best in the state.

It was also a neat building that was worth saving.
They had recently installed one of the newer tornado sirens there, I wonder if it's still working.

I went to Barnard from Sept. 1973 to May of 1977.  Many fond memories there.
