So throwing objects at politicians is okay? Good to know. Please provide a list of things that I can throw that will not be overly offensive, threatening, or dangerous. Like I said above, can I throw a shoe?

But I know what you, Ed, & T are getting for Christmas this year?

Throwing a shoe at the president = bad move, even though said president turned out to be adept at dodging shoes

Throwing glitter at a fakepresidential hopeful = innocuous.

Everyone is looking for their Youtube moment, or possibly the opportunity to be forcibly detained and injured just enough to "earn" a financial reward for being a total jackass.

But the glitter had the gay all over it.

Bachmann says she won't have "mud-wrestling fight" with Palin

http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/06/29/us-bachmann-idUSTRE75S6ZY20110629

Quote"They want to see two girls come together and have a mud-wrestling fight, and I'm not going to give it to them," Bachmann told voters, responding to a question about the media pitting the two women against one another.

Okay.

I'm all for a three-way, down and dirty mud wrestling cat fight between Bachmann, Sarah Palin, and that up-and-coming-above-her-weight fighter, Bristol Palin. Bristol will eventually make a very public, very loud break with Mama Grizzly when she realizes that she can make easy money out of it.

May you live in interesting times.

I'm glad that all the lefties at TNF have weighed in on Bachmann. I know now who thinks like Alec Baldwin.

Here's Baldwin:

and again:

Now, how many TNFers know the ages of their own children, because Ogenius doesn't know the age of his own child.

QuoteWASHINGTON (AP) -- They grow up so fast. But not that fast, Mr. President.

In a news conference Wednesday, President Barack Obama twice referred to his oldest daughter, Malia, as being 13 years old.

Not quite. She's 12.

I expect SNL will run with a whole sketch about this gaffe. Wait, expectation erased.

Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

RecycleMichael

My son tells everyone he is thirteen and is only twelve. I sometimes get confused.
Power is nothing till you use it.

This thread is about Michelle Bachman.

What's Alec Baldwin have to say about her?

SNL is on their break and new episodes won't be back on for months.  Didn't you know the Justin Timberlake episode was the finale?

Per forum guidelines which were recently posted again, please drop the name calling.

Donors Think Bachmann is Jewish

QuoteFile this one under "implausible": The New York Post reports that an anonymous Romney fundraiser says the former Mass. Governor is having trouble winning Jewish support because donors mistakenly believe Michele Bachmann is Jewish. The Romney fundraiser said his campaign has been shocked to hear donors say they'd rather support the "Jewish candidate"—even though Bachmann is openly and famously an evangelical Christian. "It's a real problem," the fundraiser said. "We're working very hard in the Jewish community because of Obama's Israel problem. This was surprising."

Michelle Bachman is on NPR right now...that sound you hear is millions of liberal check books closing.

Townsend

Doesn't appear to be winning them over.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2011/11/17/bachmann-gives-students-a-101-on-issues-then-gets-lectured/

QuoteDes Moines, Iowa (CNN) - With the air of a college instructor, Michele Bachmann essentially gave college students a Conservative 101 on the economy, national and foreign affairs and other important issues on Thursday in Iowa. But when the Republican presidential candidate took questions, some students turned the tables on their lecturer, peppering her with tough questions.

The Minnesota congresswoman appeared at a town hall at Drake University in Des Moines. Campus Republicans sponsored the event and helped pack the room.

Not the best idea for her.  Might as well send Christine O'Donnell to open the act.
