Just went back and checked, and the law requires that the expiration date be after the date of the vote.

Which law?   ...and would that mean you cant be in a bar if your DL is expired?  I know places like Wallgreens dont accept expired DL as ID, and will withhold prescriptions until you get renewed.
Not logical, and possibly even negligent if someone needs their medication immediately.

I've never had a Walgreen's ask for my ID, just my insurance card.

Is this one of the laws that we just enacted in the Sharia batch when we chose our current guberness?

You're not getting the right drugs then.

I showed my ID yesterday to fill a prescribed med.

I had to show ID a couple of weeks ago to get pain meds for my dog. The DEA is pretty serious about the ID thing for scheduled drugs.

I think you have to show it for some allergy meds as well.

State question 746 that was voted in last November states the documents acceptable for proofing identity for voting must meat the following.
-the name of the person to whom it was issued
-a photograph of the person to whom it was issued
-an expiration date that is after the date of the election

As far as the prescriptions, I wonder what happens if they deny giving you your meds if you demand to have the script back so you can take it somewhere else.

Why would anyone go to a pharmacy or anywhere else without identification?

Who are these people who walk around with out ID of any kind?

I mean, I can understand if you lost your DL or had your wallet stolen, but is it that hard to carry some acceptable form of ID?

I was referring to them refusing to give you your meds because your DL is expired.

At least they don't call the police because you are driving illegally, off your medication.

Why are people such obsequious bootlickers that they feel the need to constantly carry ID so they can prove their identity to some functionary? We had a big philisophical problem with the Soviets'  "papers please" mentality, yet here we are implementing the same in our own country and calling it freedom.

At least we're not Nevada, where it is now a crime to not produce a government-issued ID when asked for it by a LEO.

I always think "Papers please" in a German accent.

And how do they know you didn't get a ride from a friend?  Take the bus?

You're assuming.  That's not surprising though.
