Panko on a chicken fried rib eye or NY Strip is truly decadent.

You cover a rib eye in Panko or chicken-fry it? Okay, time for an intervention.  :P
Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

Not sure I agree.  Ribeye = delicious.  Chicken fry = delicious.  Ribeye + Chicken fry?  > delicious.

I'll need to check.

I think this is one of those cases where 1+1=3

Try the chicken fried prime rib at McGill's when you get back to Tulsa.  It's a non-menu item, but they will do it if you ask nicely.

Actually the New York strip idea came up when it turned out some NY strips I bought in a hurry were really tough.  I like to slather them in New Mexican chile powder so they make an amazing, earthy gravy with the beef fat as it rests on the plate. At any rate, the remaining ones were deemed to be tough as well so instead of grilling, they got the smile pounded out of them and breaded.

Like a rented mule.

Actually I left that part up to FMC as I usually do.

I laughed at that. Bad day, so thanks for a laugh.
Thank you,
