My neighbors stupidity and spitefulness reflects back onto themselves. Just like their McCain/Palin sticker did 30 months AFTER the election.

Ok, they're obviously racist.

See. What goes around comes around.

Obummer needs to keep his enemies close. My neighbors? screw 'em.

QuoteObama for America national field director Jeremy Bird said the site offers "new resources to fight back," including policy issue pages that fact check statements by Obama's Republican opponents with links to "evidence" to back them up.   Its slogan is "Get the facts. Fight the smears."

According to the site, Obama volunteers can also help campaign headquarters keep track of attacks on the president by submitting "reports" via mailform and tweeting about them using the Twitter hashtag #attackwatch.

The initiative is a throwback to a similar online effort launched by Team Obama during the 2008 campaign, called Fight the Smears.

Sounds pretty "Bush evil".

I say the same thing about my black neighbors with their Obama '08 sticker still on their car.  Truly an indication they hate old white men.

I've thought about over-laying it with a "Sorry Yet?" sticker.

In all honesty, the site looks to be more about collecting and correcting those viral emails that are so popular among the more intellectually challenged segment of the population.  You know the ones: "Obama is a secret Muslim!" "Obama is going to take your guns!" "Obama is a socialist under Moscow's control!" "Obama is an alien from outer space!" "Obama is the anti-Christ!"

Spreading lies and their associated fear is relatively easy, but refuting them takes time and research.  How many times has a co-worker said, "Politician X is a known communist/fascist/homosexual/omnisexual/heterosexual/etc."? Someone can make a statement that is probably wrong, but to refute it, to counter it with authority takes some time.  Meanwhile, the story spreads.

Truthiness is a fun political game, but it's degrading our political dialogue.  We face genuine problems that require serious discussion, and yes, compromise when it comes to finding solutions.  Muddying the waters with BS does a disservice to us all.

May you live in interesting times.

Sorry Ed, but Gas is correct.... I am an Obama brownshirt.... and if you don't agree with me, I'll send a 6'4" African American union boss in shiny shoes to rob and assault you at knife-point, carve the letter B on your cheek, and exclaim:  "YOU ARE GOING TO BE A BARACK SUPPORTER!!!" :o
