A bunch of anti-semites?  :o How quickly would the whole of the Tea Party be labeled as anti-semite based on the hatred of a few?  Videos are posted on the linked page.  TTC, where's the outrage and calls for Democrat leaders to denounce such hate speech?

QuoteAs "Occupy Wall Street" protests continue to gain steam and attract media attention, several videos of protesters spewing anti-Semitic language are sparking new concerns about the protesters and their messages.

Yeshiva World News, an Orthodox Jewish news outlet, explained in an editorial Thursday that "many Jews" are feeling a bit uncomfortable with the growing protests because of hateful video footage claiming the U.S. economy is organized for the benefit of Jews.

"The reasons for these 'uncomfortable feelings' don't need to be elaborated on this page," the editorial reads. "Suffice to say that Jews have been blamed for the world's troubles for thousands of years, and many are nervous that this finger-pointing will soon start — or , maybe it already has."

National Review Online and The Blaze have published online video footage this week showing Occupy Wall Street protesters saying and shouting anti-Jewish slurs.

"Go back to Israel," shouted one protester at an elderly Jewish man.

Adbusters, the anti-consumerist, Canada-based magazine which reportedly sparked the protest movement, has been accused of anti-Semitism in the past, most recently for comparing the situation of the Palestinians in Gaza to the plight of the Jews held in the Warsaw Ghetto during World War II. This resulted in Jewish groups publicly boycotting the magazine.

On his way to a meeting this week, Zionist Organization of America president Morton Klein walked past a protester carrying a "Hitler's Bankers" sign but decided not to dignify him with a confrontation.

"During bad times it not uncommon that Jews are scapegoated, and these are bad times. There is no question these are bad times," Klein told The Daily Caller.

Radio host Mark Levin added that he has been horrified to hear Democratic politicians voice support for the protesters without fully understanding their demands — especially in the wake of ugly rhetoric.

"I am appalled that Democrat politician after Democrat politician, including the president and vice president, are embracing these protests, even claiming to understand their supposed concerns and motivations, when so many of these people are using, among other things, anti-Semitic slurs of the oldest kind," Levin told TheDC. "It is appalling and I hope the public takes note."

At one point, he claimed to be Jewish.  Whether he is or not, he is still an idiot.  See, there is the same kind of crap on both sides.  Interesting how they seem to be so much more sparse in these demonstrations - O'Keefe is having to really struggle to put together a montage'.

All that crap takes too much away from the real people and the real story/message.

As far as denouncement of hate speech - you mean like Perry denounced Jeffers?  No denouncement at all.  Hate speech "on the left" is marginalized and relegated to the lunatic fringe as evidenced by that video.  He was probably an O'Keefe plant anyway.  But the hate speech by people like Jeffers, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell...well, now that is something entirely different.  Or even O'Keefe - he has exhibited a severe pattern of hate speech.

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

Oh come now Conan, why the bait? I have already stated many times hate speech is wrong from any direction it lurches. Now I can affirm you have no idea about what good journalism represents, unbiased and truly fair and balanced. I wonder at times "from where do you shape your opinions?" If you're asking me to condemn the 40 or so Democrat conservatives, they are dicks. Why bother, Fringey? I will say the movement is made up of individuals and you can't condemn the entire protest over several Jew haters within. I's not like there are no blacks Jews protesting....

Heir's point is spot on. Lee Atwater's grandchildren are everywhere.

This is a culture war...and I think the tide is turning.

Where in the hell were you about distractions during the tea parties. Allegations of racism and violence were rampant and you were concerned about the "real people" and "real story/message" then? And what is the OWS darn message? I mean, besides an organized jealously pot party.

You need some change, Chump.

The message is a big change is coming in the way we fund elections, buy politicians, and treat our fellow man. You won't see it coming.

I was simply making the call you usually make when a Rethug makes a racial gaffe and want to know where the GOP leadership is on condemning the stupidity.  Turnabout...

Apples and oranges. But you come from the side that can't separate the two.

You mean the O'Keefe vidoes/allegations??  Repeated over and over, even after proven to be false??

Most people have trouble believing there can be such gross inequity in our system as what has led to the financial events of the last several years - many still believe what they were taught in school about Truth, Justice, and the American Way!!

But they can certainly tell that something is horribly wrong.  They can tell that there standard of living has been going down every year for decades.  They can understand when the 1% gets by with his 15% cheap shot at the system, while they get to pay more - sometimes much more.  And while the message so far has been pretty incoherent, it may well coalesce and become something similar in size/effect to what the Tea Baggers have.  I don't expect to see it become that coherent - after all it is a large portion Democratic.  And everyone knows how disorganized they are.

What I enjoy most about it - and feel is a very good thing - is that a wider range of people are showing an interest in the governance of the country.  An awareness that has been tragically missing for a long, long time.  That can only be good.  Hopefully it will translate into more voter participation - whichever side they vote for.  The more the better!!

What America needs is more free speech!!

Again, where were you championing free speech and voter participation when the tea baggers were at it? Do yourself a favor, do a search of your screen name and "tea bagger". I was amazed at how you were championing their free speech rights?  ::)

I was exercising MY free speech rights!!  Nay, not just 'rights', but obligation to our nation!!  Still am!

Did you even read any of those posts??  Either this time OR the first time when originally written?  I just went back and reviewed them to make sure, but attacking anyone's right to free speech is so anti-everything that I believe in, it seemed inconceivable that you would seriously advance that idea.  I see you are engaged in using hyperbole.  Clever.

None of those posts attacked their right to free speech.  I did reply to their free speech with MY free speech.

How is that apples and oranges?  Give me some shredded coconut with that fruit and I can make tropical succotash.

I don't like double standards and I see one here.
