Demolition is going on there now.  Anyone know what will be taking the place of that old medical building?

I saw that this am. Is it possible they are just adding/remodeling? Or is it another QT on the way?

I'd guess a CVS to match the Walgreen's if they didn't already have one at 21st and 41st.  The QT has been renovated at 21st so that's not it either.

Maybe a mini strip with a nail salon, Subway, and cell phone store to help curb the shortage of those around Tulsa.

This land is owned by MidFirst Bank.  They are building a new branch on this location.  They have discussed building a larger building than the traditional branch to accommodate more office space, but last I heard it was going to be a normal branch.

They purchased this building in 2008 or 2009.  Begin moving out tenants as leases expired.  My kids dentist was in that building.

Thought there was a CVS a little further south on Harvard?  Or am I mistaken?  Not the first time that would happen.   ;D

There is, re-read my quote.

Speaking of corners. . .  Does anyone know what's being built at the Southwest corner of 61st and Lewis? The old convenience store was removed a couple of weeks ago, and now there is dirt work going on.

Doh.  ADD strikes again!  Not really, but convenient excuse.

Perhaps a sign pointing East on 61st St.  "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here"

Might need one pointing north as well...at least to 51st, anyway.

Ironically enough, another MidFirst bank branch.  That one will be a traditional branch location.  They WAY overpaid for that corner.

They are on a little bit of a branching spree in Tulsa.  They just opened two in BA.  They also own two pieces of dirt in Jenks proper.

Thanks!! Now the bank robbers won't have to go very far to buy their Meth after they're done with a heist.

I have always thought what a great place Tulsa would be if we only had more drive through banks.

That is good to hear about 61st/Lewis.  That gas station has sat vacant for years...right across the street from Southern Hills CC.

They can get a twofer with BOK right across the street.
