Her name gave you the excuse to post some awkward statements regarding gay people; "The Gays", "a Gay", that you knew would offend some people but leave you the cheap out that "it's just her name". Which is why when I see him post, I try and and do a 'speed-read' through it.  Because mainly I'm about 90 percent sure if I read said post carefully, it would be wasting my time.  Even with the pretty font color changes and all.

If they got offended by it, then they are taking themselves far too serious.  Why "should" someone be offended by it as you say? He didn't poke fun at gay people, make a slur, or hurl gay epithets, but it's interesting whose panties got all in a wad over this.  If you weren't offended, why did you even make mention of it?

Is this what PC has come to?  We can't laugh at ourselves anymore?  Ever use the term "Tea Bagger" Swake?  That's one that really ought to piss off teh gheys.

20-30 years ago, the attack ad on Sen. Stabenow in Michigan would have made the point about millions of American jobs escaping to China without anyone complaining it was racist.  We are becoming a nation of pussies.

That attack ad is dumber than a box of rocks. Not only is it stupid because you've got a woman who looks more Korean than Chinese pretending to be Chinese while speaking broken English with a perfect SoCal accent, but it's even stupider because it misses the truth about why offshoring happens by such a long distance that it's like NASA aiming for Mars and hitting Mercury.
