"...and I think most conservatives understand that individuals can't go it alone.."

Sounds like that horrible "Nanny State" I hear talk of.

Oh wait oh wait oh wait... I think I get it now INDIVIDUALS can't go it alone, it's CORPORATIONS that can go it alone.  If your a corporation polluting the air and water making people less healthy the government should stay out of the way, but if your and individual who wants to say, buy a bottle of wine on Sunday or take a "day after" pill, then you need to be "regulated" and protected from your bad choices.

Remember that Mitt said, "Corporations are people too, my friend."  And I'll believe that when one of them runs into a burning building to rescue a child.

They're the ones that own the buildings.  The buildings with no fire supression system.  The building that then catches fire and burns the children.

Mitt Romney's corporation friends burn children.

Don't burn your children.  Vote "other".

When it comes to this corporation issue, I think we need to go back to differentiating between a "person" and their rights, and a "citizen" and their rights.  Might help clarify some of this "can or should they make donations to political parties or try to change our political system" thing in our country.  You can be a person in our country, say from Saudi Arabia or Japan or wherever, and have certain rights and responsibilites,,, but you can't vote and you shouldn't be making donations to parties and paying for commercials to influence votes etc.
