yes.  i guess i didn't know that 4G with at&t was available in tulsa yet.  i really hadn't been keeping up with it though.

Semantics.  I've had it with my Atrix 4G, but it actually shows up as HSPA+

Supposedly better use of bandwidth.  at&t is freeing up older GSM frequencies for use as 4G, and letting 2G users know their time is almost up.

There's no real definition for 4G, it's kinda whatever you say it is.

Verizon 4G is LTE
AT&T 4G is HSPA+ and LTE

You can't compare 4G to 4G as the terms change by carrier. AT&T LTE and Verizon LTE will be speed comparable, once they both get rolled out.

What AT&T is trying to push is that their 3G is faster than verizon's 3G which is true.

At&t can bite me...throttling legacy unlimited plan users is crap! We DO NOT use more network, we use the SAME network, same amount of data BUT AT&T does not have a way to CHARGE US! Its ridiculousness! I signed up and was SOLD unlimited use, fast network and now AT&T is basically saying...whoa..if you use your unlimited plan for unlimited data we are going to slow you down even though we and you agreed to pay X amount for it and have been doing your part...sorry and F you kindly sir....now please pay your bill on time this month....
