Over in the "toe tapper" thread the sexual harassment allegation made against him by another man was discussed. Now there's this:

Quote
The former executive director of the North Carolina Democratic Party, who resigned last week amid allegations of sexual harassment in the organization, is now facing a startling new accusation from an ex-girlfriend. Rebecca Burgin says Jay Parmley infected her with HIV several years ago.

"And after Jay and I broke up, the biggest concern that I had was, 'what if this happened to somebody else? Would he do this to someone else?' ... My biggest concern is for anybody else that has had a relationship with him that he did not tell," Rebecca Burgin, 29, told The Daily Caller.

Burgin and Parmley met in Oklahoma, where Parmley served as executive director and chairman of the Oklahoma Democratic Party and also taught classes at Oklahoma City Community College. She was 20 and he was 32. They began dating in January 2004, she says.

I am sure that there are many democrats (and republicans) who like to have sex and are irresponsible about it. This guy seems like a creep and deserves to get in big trouble for his perversions.
Power is nothing till you use it.

Knowingly transmitting HIV to someone is 1st degree murder and should be a capital crime, as far as I am concerned.

"So he brandished a gun, never shot anyone or anything right?"  --TeeDub, 17 Feb 2018.

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

Murder? You might be stretching. Magic Johnson has had it for quite some time. Assault maybe.

Tommy Morrison as well.  Maybe they should confiscate the weapon.  :o

Ok, for him then...
But for those without the monetary resources to survive that long - it's murder.

QuoteRaleigh, N.C. — Adriadn Ortega, the young man who claimed that former state Democratic Party Executive Director Jay Parmley sexually harassed him, is threatening to sue the party and Chairman David Parker for defamation and breach of contract.

In a letter sent to Parker Tuesday, Ortega's lawyer, Kieran Shanahan, demands that the party save all documents that might be related to the episode.

"Based on the results of our investigation to date, Adriadn Ortega is a victim of defamation, breach of contract and other potential actions caused by the North Carolina Democratic Party and you," the letter says.

Ortega brought claims of harassment against Parmley late last year and was later fired. The party and Ortega reached a monetary settlement over the claims in January.

The episode became public in April, and Parmley was forced to resign, although he denied any wrongdoing.
