Conan and Carlton. Bottle Rockets at 10 paces, turn and fire. As for Conan's point, he's right. IIRC, Bridenstine and Olson both are placing their military careers right out there.
Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

I thought Joe Walsh was better with the Eagles than as a solo act.

Joe Walsh Plays Benefit For Duckworth

QuoteOn Sunday night, at John Barleycorn in Schaumburg, the Eagles guitarist played a one-hour benefit concert for Walsh's opponent, Tammy Duckworth. Walsh had performed at the Naperville Ribfest the night before, which was why he could fit this show into a tour to support Analog Man, his first solo album in 20 years, and bring his entire band.

"Tammy's really unique to me," Walsh said before the show. "I don't normally get involved in politics. She's someone who really cares. "It doesn't matter who she's running against. I would be here. She's a breath of fresh air."

And isn't it ironic...don't you think...
A little too ironic...and, yeah, I really do think...  ;D

I would love to have gone to that concert.  Saw the good Walsh back in the 80's and it was fantastic!!  Bet it still is....

As for the evil Walsh, well he has got Karl Rove carp smeared all over himself.  That is a toned down version of the pure S$$$ that Karl Rove directed in the Saxby Chambliss campaign in Georgia back in 2002.  A draft dodging druggy who collected his deferments around him as his shield, attacking a real live Viet Nam veteran who won Silver Star and Bronze Star and lost 3 limbs in the event.  Rove/Chambliss attacking him for not being patriotic enough....equating him to Osama Bin Laden in his ads.

Where is the "righteous indignation" of the RWRE for that?  And this?

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

I guess it's called 'circling the wagons'.
