Looks like I can actually make money on my 4S on Gazelle.  Hmmm, might have to re-think not upgrading this go 'round.

AT&T changed their upgrade policy. 4S owners aren't eligible. Android owners do qualify for accelerated upgrades.

Just make sure you don't send them that case; they may think twice about the price they offer.   ;D

Oh I can get an upgrade, it would simply cost me $600+ I believe.  I read that right after I cruised through here the last time.

You can preorder for $200, have it fedexed to your house and usually sell the old one for closer to $300. Who's the putz?

Me for listening to my boss and switching from U.S. Cellular to AT&T and getting the iPhone.

Based on what I could get for my 4S and 3 on Gazelle, net cost would be $150 then.  Not so bad.

Ya we sold our 4's on Gazelle and got the 5's for about 50.00, we skipped the 4s upgrade..minus the crappy activation fee of (gasp 31.00) which I intend to dispute, not a bad deal.

I just activated a phone on my account for my son and it was 35.00 activation fee. That's why I have to wait for another phone upgrade and by then the iPhone 6 should be out.

Just to give you an idea of how advanced Apple is. . .Word is that they've already started development on the iPhone 10.

I don't own a Galaxy S3 (have a Galaxy Nexus which is just as good with all the same features...and unlocked)...but I thought this commercial was pretty funny:

Ouch!  Shoulda asked around...I've had AT & T for 24 years - switched from US Cellular - and the service pretty well sucks.  That's why they are always at the bottom for customer happiness.  So why stay?  Well, I am now getting ready to change.  Previously there was an incentive that outweighed the lousy service that no longer exists.

But then, 24 years ago, US Cellular was at least as bad as AT&T is now...

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

12 years ago US Cellular was that bad.  AT&T I can sort of stomach now (I signed up when they were still known as Cingular).  They're still the only carrier that allows you to do data and voice simultaneously on your smartphones.

Before the networks were merged, both the old AT&T and Cingular were riddled with dead zones. In building coverage wasn't too hot, either. Merging the two networks was an enormous help
