Alright Sgrizz! First a spot in a piece on News on 6 and now Urban Tulsa. Tulsa Now is blowin up. I'm glad to have found this forum over 4 years ago. Our regulars are some of the most knowledgable people, not just here in Tulsa but around the World. I am very proud to be a part of this web site.
I am always trying to recruit new and interesting people to do some posting.

Is this the place to make fun of folks at the Tulsa World who think that "unique visitors" are actually unique and not the same folks getting themselves 10 new articles 5 times a month?

Is there a private mode setting in IE or Firefox?  I love that feature on Safari, unlimited paywall visits!

Firefox does, I'm not sure about IE8/9/10. I would hope so by now.  :P

Thinking more seriously about this topic, meh. We desperately need traditional journalism, but as the UTW article makes clear we no longer have that even in old media organizations. It's no wonder crazier and crazier things are coming out of the legislature when they're subject to less sunlight every year. I'm glad there are still a couple of folks covering the capitol, but it's not enough. This is one thing citizen journalism doesn't do well, working a beat.

Individual bloggers are better at opinion and arcane stuff that requires months of research than the day to day sausage making.
