So is he lying or are his positions evolving?  Can't have it both ways.

Either way, I think President Obama should focus on that, don't you?

You obviously skipped the part where I asked if the lies could really be called them, due to the flip flopping.

You left off the biggest flip of all--gay marriage.

When did that happen, that link was kind of old.

Of course when you attack on that basis, it requires details.  You can't simply point and scream lier.

This cat disagrees.

Touche, however, I doubt Obama would have given him his "chance" to elaborate.  ;)

But he was right...

QuoteThe non-partisan organization FactCheck.org has debunked the claim that health care reform would mandate coverage for illegal immigrants.

--

During President Obama's major health care speech on Wednesday, South Carolina Rep. Joe Wilson (R) yelled out "You lie!" when the President said the legislation would not mandate coverage for undocumented immigrants.

Factcheck debunked something that was not even law. What I said was that time has come to show that Wilson was right.

Hoss was almost there. . .

I guess this is what I'm getting at.

President Obama can't criticize Romney for flip-floping, because that opens the debate to his own flops that translated directly into policy.

President Obama can't criticize Romney on economics, foreign policy, domestic policy, jobs, healthcare, or anything for that matter.

Each of these subjects offers a policy position(s) for Romney, but each also harbors a policy failure for President Obama.

It is best if Obama simply find a way to keep him on the ropes with subjects like abortion, or force him into a corner with tax cuts, or paint him as cruel and insensitive.  If all else fails, simply point and scream LIER!

That was my thinking why the President probably played it right on that matter during the debate. He is walking a very thin line.
