It's the flip-flopping, Scott.  He changed his views on abortion twice IN 24 HOURS.  So is he for or against it?

How about OBomneyCare?  Will he or won't he end the restriction on pre-existing conditions?  One day he says he won't, then his advisers walk it all back.

Face it.  You guys have picked the most wishy-washy candidate probably in modern history.  But you don't care.  As long as the incumbent is gone, you'll take it.

It's not Romney that's confusing near as much as it's the damn reporting which is confusing.  You can read accounts of a Romney speech from five or six different sources and it's interpreted as something entirely different by each source.

From a Romney senior advisor this morning: "If he doesn't give a vigorous enough defence of his last four years in office, if he tries to place blame everywhere else, if he doesn't articulate what the next four years will look like beyond just giving away free stuff - if he fumbles all that, he drives a stake through his own heart."

It's going to be a tough performance, especially in a town hall format without a teleprompter.

The 08 Town hall with McCain was the moment my wife said "He's gonna do what?" In his own words, Obama's policies are indefensible.

Where are the howls calling Biden a liar?

Why are you asking us?

I don't think Biden's a lier.  I think he's just not well informed. He bungled his way through the debate with mirthless laughter and general douchebagary.  He had no idea what he was saying.  Didn't even know his own administrations tax proposal.

A lie requires a divergence from a known truth.  Biden is a clown, and you can't fault a clown for pointless activity.

Where are the dozens of editorials calling Biden a liar? It's not like that was the only whopper he told. He does have an ingenious defense. He can claim ignorance and not a sole would argue with that.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.  I AM the forum police, so I have to take on a sub-role as the grammar/spelling police.

Flip flops.

Well played double entendre, Hoss.

If only I was a politician, I would be a perfect VP candidate. I could just blame everything on my lack of comprehension of the English language.  ;)
