They know with our shorter life span, they won't have to deal with us on an individual basis as long.  Huzzah for our lack of affordable health care.

After just looking at the bill my mother got for one night's stay at St John's over NYE, amen.

It's been a while since a governor of either party paid much attention to Tulsa.

My guess is Mary Fallin worked with Verizion officials behind the scenes to get them to expand in Oklahoma. The state has alot of offer, low taxes and a business friendly enviroment. I doubt if Brad Henry was the governor Verizion would of came here, they would of gone to Texas or Missouri..... Heck if anything  Henry would of chased them out of the state.....Anyhow,  That means in Tulsa we'll have 500 more people working paying taxes to the state, the state gets more income from the expanding job market and it's done without raising taxes. That is exactly what I mean when I say a growing economy makes jobs and produces income for the state...  Tulsa Thanks You Mary Fallin! :)

So the lack of mental health care due to Fallin's medicare choices doesn't bother you at all huh?

(If it matters to you it's "would have" btw.)

Well I'll be darned, I had no idea that the government was the only source of mental health care?

Mary Fallin is working to improve the whole state of Oklahoma and when Oklahoma gets better so does Tulsa. The state of Oklahoma and the city of Tulsa have some the lowest unemployment rates in the nation.. That is what a pro-growth governor and a  pro- business governor can do.. Since Mary Fallin came to power Oklahoma's unemployment rates have been tumbling every month. The more companies the Governor can draw to Oklahoma the better our economy will be and that means more jobs and that means more people paying taxes to the state. It's a cycle of growth!

This is about jobs and the economy. With a strong economy everyone does better, we all live better. Mary Fallin gave Tulsa 500 good paying jobs, with more jobs to follow. This is a very good thing for Tulsa and the state of Oklahoma!

If you like high unemployment and a economy in shambles, with everyone suffering there are many states and cities that have just that. Oklahoma is booming & rocking!

Sauer, Governoress Douchebag had zero, zipp, to do with this just like she hasn't been in orfice long enough to get a rise out of Oklahoma's economy.

Please stop jumping the gun!

Well I think it also had to do with Verizon owns this property, they have a ton of open space, Oklahoma has low cost of living and there there are some great schools in Tulsa. Owasso is going to be the one to benifit from this as well as downtown with the college grads moving in. These are not "call center" jobs by any means. I will talk to a few friends who work out there to see if they heard anything else. Its a pretty cool campus if you've never been there.

Campuss...Cherokee better be nice, we foot the bill two times for that Chamber development debacle.

So how much are we paying for these jobs? I find it hard to believe Verizon wouldn't be looking for a handout...
