It's preferential: I think these trees are looking for revenge.

Look who wrote the article- what do you expect them to say? Trees destroy home sewer lines, walkways, driveways and roofs. The problem is when a home is new or in a new subdivision people plant tiny trees, then forget about them. In time the trees are never trimmed back and allowed to grow wild, the people move to another home and the new residents who move into the home don't do nothing about the trees. Soon there is a massive tree with huge branchs hanging over the house just waiting for ice storm or wind storm to bring it down. I see homes around Tulsa with  huge massive trees 5 or 10 feet from the house. WoW! Google "tree-home damage"

I also have heard that kids play with matches and lighters. I need to get them away from my house right away. Did you know that sometimes women shoot their husbands? No sense having her around any more. Why I could be in real danger.

As long as I got no big trees around my house- if you want a huge tree near your home more power to ya! The shade from the trees block out alot of sunshine too.
