What am I missing here? The citizens of Tulsa are surely capable of deciding more than one issue at a time.

I just must be missing something here.

No. It must be the most convoluted and inconvenient process imaginable. Also, the more costly and disruptive to election workers, the better!!

Not sure what election in May you are talking about.

The Tulsa mayoral election is June 11 with a potential runoff in August if no candidate gets over 50% of the vote.  This is due to the new non-partisan nature of the mayor's race.

Tulsa Public Schools Technology and Safety & Security Bond is scheduled for May 14th.

The TPS bond issue is moved up so they can sell the bonds in time to have technology in place for next school year.  And, TPS isn't citywide, only within the district.  Most of Tulsa south of 71st street isn't eligible to vote.

Forgot about the TPS bond issue.  I guess those ads they are running did not sink in very far.

I guess that is one way to get rid of south Tulsa.

Nearly fatal mistake by TPS to give up rights to South Tulsa to Jenks Public Schools and Union ISD.
