I was one of those in the audience yelling and getting rowdy!  It was a little bit on the 'smoky' side, if you know what I mean....  Best concert in the history of the world.  Loudest, next to Johnny Winter that I have ever seen.  Wonderful...

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

Did you see the Johnny Winter show at the PAC? It was the only rock and roll show ever in that venue.
Power is nothing till you use it.

The one I saw was at the Brady, I think....he was playing Dallas and Houston a LOT in '77 and '79, so it was probably in '79.  PAC was '77.  I think he played the Cain's, too, a little later, but I didn't see that one.  And I could have it all twisted around, too...that's so long ago.  The only things I remember for sure at PAC was American Theater Company productions from time to time back then....  ATC did an outdoor rooftop production of the Joyce Martel show on one of those old warehouses on the train tracks - Clayton Vaughn sat in the row in front of me.  Loud noise - cannon shot - during production startled oldest child - made her jump, and probably cry...about a month before she was born.  THAT was a long time ago...that kids getting old, now!
