Sounds like the Pope has also.  He's not very popular with the righties these days.

Kind of like voting Republican in all but Presidential elections in Oklahoma in the 70s and 80s.  It used to be safe to vote Republican because you knew your vote was wasted but you could complain about what was happening by saying you voted the other way.

How about this:
As you continue to mature (grow up) you will again become a conservative.

That is, until you reach Medicare/Social Security age when you will again become liberal. I am approaching that age rapidly.
