I have noticed that the glass on the side of the smaller building has been replaced, and that there is new night lighting.  I heard this week that the gold on each building will be reclad in glass curtain wall, to be done in phases over the next 2 years.  It will be different not seeing the gold tower, but it should make it appear more modern.

At one time the owners wanted to develop the land by Cityplex into a shopping center with a Whole Foods as the anchor.  I think this was back in 2006 so probably a victim of the recession like the proposed center at 61st & Yale.  Anyone know if there are still any plans for this land across from ORU?

I don't know about all the gold being removed, but had heard something about making the corners blue and replacing all the lighting

Either my reading skills are shabby or the article is written poorly, but either way I still can't tell whether they are replacing all of the windows and panels with blue glass, or just the corner windows and panels?

"The face-lift will replace all corner points, windows and panels around all three towers with blue glass, "

It further mentions the change is supposed to be a 20% cooling savings.

Sounds like the whole building to me.
