First, I didn't know Oklahoma had one, and second, they apparently are getting agitated.

RM, which regiment you commanding?
Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

Make Love, not War.

Now if they want to plan a mixer with the Feds that includes drinking and a dance contest. I am your leader. Well in my size they call me a two leader.
Power is nothing till you use it.

Well, there's only so many sheep and cattle for the militia to take care of...........

DolfanBob

As high as meat is right now. Bundy could just sell a quarter of his cattle and pay the Feds that amount easy.
But then again. We wouldn't have a up in arms story to talk about.
Changing opinions one mistake at a time.

Scott Shaw is a moron.  On so many levels, it is impossible to detail them all.  No knowledge or sense of history whatsoever.  And it is causing me actual physical pain to say this, but Inhofe was right for once.

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

In his head.  I'd think we would all know a member or two if there were 50,000.

This Bundy thing is nuts.

It giant that guys land, it never has been.  I own it as much as he does... more, because he has an arrears for refusing to pay usage fees.  If a tenant of mine stopped paying rent and declared I had to right to the property, then took up arms when I tried to evict him, no one would give two cares.  But when Uncle Sam expects ranchers to follow the rules and pay rent, it is time to take up arms!

Can I please have all the Corps land around Keystone?  If I just taken it, will the OK Militia defend me?

Who is Scott Shaw, I've never heard of him before.

Can't I just declare myself as a member?  Is there some sort of paperwork I have to file in order to be a member of the OK militia?

I can make a pin.

That is what has baffled me all along.  This guy quit paying grazing fees, on public land, 21 years ago and is surprised when the government rounds up his herd?  He's essentially trespassing on government property.  I really don't see a defense for that.

The constitution doesn't explicitly say that the federal government can own land so he doesn't recognize the federal ownership. That's his defense.

The thing is, Nevada deeded that land to the US back in something like 1874. It's written into the Nevada state constitution.

Kind of like the Constitution doesn't specify anything about income taxes or an IRS as a defense for not paying taxes?
