After looking through the files from Bate's website (linked in the lost architecture thread), I found something I remember being there but don't remember the name of it. It was a pool and clubhouse set up east of Memorial on 58th street. Just curious if anyone remembers this.

Also, does anyone know the name of this school that was just north of I-244 and east of Memorial? It became the Builders Square location, and then part of AA.

No idea the name, likely the same as the neighborhood.  Neighborhood pools were a popular concept from the mid 1950's to 1970's.  Lortondale and 5300 still operate in the 'hood NE of 31st & Yale.  Sungate is still in operation (and has always been very well-maintained) west of Memorial as well.  I know there are others like Park Plaza South and Forrest Creek to the west of Pittsburgh on 84th or 83rd.

Checked with some friends, and it was part of that neighborhood, and it was developed just before they started building homes. I was only there once, but it was nice, had an indoor game room, a small little restaurant with tables and a view looking north east. It was hit by the tornado Easter weekend in 1981, and just never rebuilt.
