Watching the president convincing the American people that his noble justification of the war in Iraq could go on for years.  It confused me  that the war in Iraq nor did Iraq have any connection with the terrorism strike on 9\11.

I don't remember him mentioning the Weapons of mass destruction.

He said we are fighting an army without uniforms, I believe.   In recalling the new Iraq army we are training to take over, I have not seen any of them with uniforms.   The last uniform of Iraqis was those Saddam's army wore it seems like.

There seem to be a very unfriendly atmosphere surrounding the speech as well a the major networks made no comments afterwards.  

Did I miss the point he made?  Can someone fill me in?
