I should be pointed that that we have a serious problem around here concerning law enforcement. From Tulsa Police indictments, to the cluster at the Tulsa County Sheriff, to issues with numerous individual officers like the rapist, the clown in Owasso, several Tulsa police officers charged with murder, etc. We are talking about evidence of officers planning to frame people or, going the other way, being on the pay roll of drug gangs to call and warn them of raids. Worse yet, thinking they are so far above the law that they can rape citizens and get away with it because its my word against yours.

There can't be more than 1500 law enforcement officers in the metro. And given that they have a significant "circle the wagons" culture, whatever we hear about is the tip of the iceberg.  There is a serious cultural issue, from the top to the bottom, among LEO in this community.

The steady stream of stories, many with visual evidence, of police officers acting viciously toward innocent people or perpetrators guilty of the smallest offenses suddenly makes much more sense when taking into account the devastating domestic violence statistics. Why would someone willing to attack or beat a loved one in the privacy of his own home hesitate to use violence against strangers on the street?

Milwaukee officer, whose fatal shooting of black man led to riots, arrested on sexual assault charge

Officer Dominique Heaggan-Brown, 24, is charged with two counts of felony second-degree sexual assault, and two counts of prostitution, a misdemeanor. He also is charged wth one felony count of possessing or distributing a recording of nudity without consent.

The victim said Officer Heaggan-Brown "bragged about being able to do whatever (he) wanted without repercussions."
He told police he had trouble remembering what happened after he left the bar with Heaggan-Brown but said he remembered waking up to Heaggan-Brown raping him.

A former Tulsa County deputy in prison for sexual battery agreed to a $300,000 settlement filed by the woman he was convicted of victimizing.

A judge sentenced Gerald Nuckolls to eight years in prison in November of 2015. A jury convicted Nuckolls a month before of sexual battery and indecent exposure while on duty.

Former Tulsa County deputy charged with child porn while being prosecuted in child sex abuse case

Its interesting to see which local media did and didnt downplay him being a Tulsa cop.


A former Tulsa police officer was arrested Thursday on complaints of sex crimes against children.
Broken Arrow Police say Noel McFadden, 70, was molesting children in his Broken Arrow neighborhood near Elm and Kenosha, less than half of a mile from Arrowhead Elementary School.
"He's out a lot talking to the parents and kids, just being active in the neighborhood, and maybe using that statement of being prior law enforcement to gain people's trust and attention," said Detective Eric Bentz with Broken Arrow Police
"This is why no one comes forward, because he is so respected by the community," the victims' mother Amber said.
McFadden worked for the TPD for about 10 years, Officer Leland Ashley said.
