Out of boredom here at work. I was perusing through the escaped convict pages of the good ol DOC and noticed something a bit strange. There are 17 pages of 85 escapees. 33 of them escaped this year. 2 of them last Friday the 7th from different facilities. That's just crazy. I have heard nothing about this mass exodus from these penitentiaries on the news.

Looks like they've recaptured Sauerkraut.

The rest may be kept on the DL by the prison lobby groups?

Or the news agencies worry people would get bored hearing about 85 prison escapes.

National man hunts are lucrative for the 24 hour news cycle.
