Signs for recall are up

The gremlins have been very active again.   The signs of pro and con are up at the intersection in the eastern part of town.  Although they seem to be well divided they are on the city right a way.   During this next week the city worker may collect certain colors of the signs as has happened in the past.  They may have been placed premature as many voters have already made up their minds on how they will vote.   The rest of the voters in the undecided column will make up their minds in the last three days before the election.  These signs are to be considered as the fuse to the explosion that will come this next weekend.   Let us all hope that the number of voters surpass those in the last general election.

The charter could be construed to allow only those who voted in the district general election qualified to sign the recall petition.   In other words only the electors that exercised their right to vote in the general election could recall the officer they elected.   Course one cannot catch all the downstream water and carry it back above the dam. Just make sure you vote at least once.
