If something like this was built where would you want to see it downtown?

I remember you guys being at a building much closer to the airport (Apache/Sheridan?) when I took my first tour in second grade.  A year after June 8 1974 for me.  It was fascinating.  Never been to the one at 11th/169 but live close.

It was at the airport until '93...I got here in '94. We're in the 6-story office building next to the Red Cross. Have to say we have a great view to the west from the 3rd floor.

Instead of this office building?  It's already curved.   :)

It needs a view of weather rolling in from the west.

#1) Surface parking west side of Cheyenne between 7th and 8th. Just west of 110 w. 7th Building. Northwest of the Cathedral.

Or

2) surface parking lots near TCC on or just off of Boston, probably somewhere between 8th and 10th (west view, keeps Boston continuity, maybe retracts urban blight award). Assuming a 1/2 to 1/4 block development... Several choices in there.

Blue dome needs housing and small business spaces, not large office complexes IMHO.

I wonder if a tornado tower would attract or repel tornados...unsure of whether they are solitary or pack mentality.

Not sure, but the Warren theater in Moore has 'deflected' two tornadoes with minimal damage - one in 2013 and another several weeks ago.

Edit:

Maybe look at why Warren does it and see if the tower could benefit...

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

In the highly unlikely event, I'd like to see the jail and day center and stuff moved and it placed there. Yeah that's not gonna happen.  Or maybe in a spot next to the railroad tracks kinda near the ball park and have a train depot in it also. Of course that needs rail service and well...
