The mayor assures all the revitalizing of the old town is for the taxpaying poor who receive a W2 form at the end of the year.  Those are the ones who cannot claim expenses to offset their tax burden.

So now we are building another "spruce goose" which will have an income (maybe) of $214,000 dollars yearly.   If the taxpayer recoups the original investment of the $141,000,000 I believe it will only take 659 years if no interest is charged by the bankers who stand to make the tax free profits on interest.

The remodeling of the convention center at 42 million and it is scheduled to loose 1.8 million dollars from now on.  The interest also on these revenue bonds are non-taxable.

Now we are going to promote the East Village with another stadium or coliseum.  Some poster seem to think the Christians are available but there may be a shortage of lions.

There is the spin-off that will create a profit for the selected few.

Before the food stores started selling gasoline there were many independent gas stations.  These have disappeared.  Oil companies would build three or four stations in an area.  When there was only one station it got most of the business.  When several was built no one of them got all the business.  (I use this as an illustration for those who think I am drifting off subject)   The figures annualizing the use of the arena's, stadiums, and coliseums  are made on the presumption of the present use.  It is possible to overbuild sport complexes to where the market becomes overly saturated.   If and they are opening up such buildings in other cities then we are set for a pricing war to get participants

We are without mass transportation and are being told there is gobs of parking available for a price but it will require walking blocks.  The arena will not provide any public parking.  Events of the future in arena's and other sports complexes will be determined on how assessable the event is.

Of course this was all approved by a minority of the majority of registered
voters.

Who will profit even in the event these operate at a loss?

It is all loss for the people and their children for centuries to come.

Today we stand in ecstasy and view that we build today'
Tomorrow we will enter into the plea to have it torn away.
