Even if you aren't into estate sales you might want to check out this one tomorrow at Edison and Country Club Drive: Silvey Estate Sales

This is a classic I-always-wondered-what-that-house-looks-like-inside house. It's across the street from Owen Park and backs up to the Tulsa Country Club. When I was a kid we used to drive past it and my Mom would always remark, "Wouldn't we be right at home!" I just thought it looked cool- very moderne with sandstone brick. Longtime Tulsans who remember Betty Boyd might know this home's patio- she often used it as an outdoor set for her TV show.

But the best part is inside! The house was built in 1949 by the owners of the Tulsa Tile Company and is in great shape. It should come as no surprise it looks like a ceramic tile showroom. Even the kitchen ceiling is tiled!

I'll stop ranting. Just wanted to post this in case some of you on the board can appreciate a time capsule like this one. Enjoy!
