In the half of a century watching and trying to analyze the political system of Tulsa I have seen the change from a small town political system where the average citizen could walk in a commissioners office and discuss their problems to professional political figures hiding behind sectary closed door meetings dictating self imposed authority over the working poor and aging.  After several tries and a quarter a million dollars the charter was changed to part time representation to eliminate ward politics conducted by professional life time politicians that did not listen to the people..

Question now is has this been achieved?   Has the voter failed to make their choice known?
