Crowne Plaza (the Adam's Mark until June 2004) sold.  Name stays the same.

"Tulsa is becoming an attractive city for commercial investments, Kapoor said, and he hopes to position the hotel to take advantage of the upturn.

"The Crowne Plaza can serve Tulsa in a much stronger, much more active way," he said. "Downtown and Tulsa in general are on the growth path."

Though he said specifics of the renovation have not been finalized, Ascension plans to remodel all 462 guest rooms, suites and public areas, Kapoor said.

Kapoor also said he hopes to take advantage of downtown retail traffic and strengthen the hotel's own retail offerings."
