Tulsa's 4th of July Parade

Join in a Tulsa Tradition and participate in Saluting our military personel(past and present) this year by participating in the 4th of July Parade.  Held on Tuesday, July 4th, 2006, the parade will begin registering participants at 7 AM at the Reasor's/Quizno's Parking lot located at the NW corner of 41st and Garnett Road. Parade route is 41 and Garnett northward to 22nd and Garnett. Enter Parking lot from HWY. 169 exiting onto 41st STREET.  Enter the Reasor's paking lot (on the north side of 41 street) and find a good location to build your entry.  Send ONE person to the REGISTRATION TABLE, located next to Quizno's under the white canopy with red/white/blue balloons, to pick up parade number and information.  Juding of entries will begin at 8:30 AM.  Parade will begin to move northward on Garnett Promptly at 10 AM.  

Catogories for juding consideration are:

[:)]Citizens Trophy...$50 cash
[:)]Best Decorated Bicycle...one boy and one
                        girl $50 savings bond
[:)]Merit Trophy (best neighborhood entry)..$50
                  cash
[:)]Liberty Trophy...(best ethnic-cultural
               entry)...$50 cash

Parade takes place rain or shine....Please remember that this is a family event and plan your entry accordingly.

A free watermelon feed will be hosted by SEAT and American Dream Collition at the conclusion of the parade.  Look for the red/white and blue barrells at the park at approx. 125th and E. 21st street.
