Grassroots Approach to Fundraising

Dr. Alberto Mata will be at Tulsa City-County Library on Friday September 8 at 1:30pm in the Central Library's Aaronson Auditorium to discuss a grassroots approach to fundraising and strategies for social change.

A professor in the Dept. of Human Relations at the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Mata has taught courses on Grant Writing, Voluntary Organizations & Non-Profits, and Strategies for Social Change. Dr. Mata’s research interests reflect his teaching and expand to include social welfare policy and community health intervention among other topics. Dr. Mata is passionate about the nonprofit sector and innovative in his approach to assist nonprofits. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear this gifted and experienced professor.
