Nepotism at City Hall at the Council Level

I have a problem that is in District 4 - Barnes.

I sent an email to the listed email address. After not receiving a response for a couple of days (I was expecting a reciept of message - not an answer) I emailed back the folowing:

Does anyone answer these email messages? Is there a preferable way to correspond with the distric council person?

A simple "I got your message, thanks" or "I got your message and we're not going to do anything" would be better than being put on ignore.

Being put on ignore seems to be the going thing with doing business down at city hall.

So today I called in to see who the Chairperson for the Council is and or how do I speak directly to my Council person.

I was given the Council chairman's name and transferred to his extension only to find out that the aide to councilor Martensen has the family name as the aide to Councilor Barnes.

I feel that my complaint will only be filtered again and not reach the elected official.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get a meeting with or even speak directly with the council?

I don't understand why we have any nepotism within the same department at city hall and why we can't get the time of our elected official -- I don't know about you, but I didn't vote for a Keri F. or a John F.
